The courses below will take place during the school day and are suitable for homeschooled students.
Science at Key Stage 3 (age 11-14) will focus on learning key principles in biology, chemistry and physics, as well as scientific skills and maths in science.
Science at Key Stage 4 will follow the EdExcel iGCSE 9-1 syllabus.
Introduces key scientific concepts from biology, chemistry and physics. Also includes maths for scientists and scientific method.
Includes lessons for Biology, Chemistry and Physics every week. Students will work towards three separate GCSE qualifications, one for each science.
A fast-paced course for students who need to learn the content but are short on time. This combined science course will count as two GCSEs.
Are you alright with all the rest of Chemistry but struggle just with moles? Is Physics fine except for the motor effect?
The GCSE Drop-in sessions are starting soon. Just join the sessions you want, and leave the ones you don't!
Professional - classes run by a qualified teacher
Fun! - I like science. It might not be everyone's favourite subject, but having a teacher who genuinely likes it and is able to explain it makes a huge difference!
Understandable - students regularly say they find lessons engaging and easy to understand
Interactive lessons - class sizes are kept small, so students can interact and ask questions
Wholesome - supporting students doesn't stop in the classroom. Students can ask me for help with work experience or applying for college for example
Recorded lessons - available only to students on the course, so you can listen again or catch up if you miss a lesson
